The vivid tastes of theMerlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and the PDO Agiorgitiko appeal to your imagination as well as your palate; sipping on the nectar of the gods will whisk you back in time to when wine drinking was a way of life and Dionysus would regularly rock up for Ancient Greek hotenanny! Adding to the vintage, the remains of Ancient Nemea are to be found perched on verdant hills and scattered amongst the olive and cypress trees. Treasured artefacts unearthed in the area are on display in the Archaeological Museum of Nemea and if you are lucky enough to come at the right time of year you can sink a glass or two of vino while watching the Modern Nemean Games.
